Recovery from a drug or alcohol addiction is a journey, destination and way of life. It’s also a big achievement, one that consists of many smaller but nonetheless significant accomplishments. These countless milestones are anniversaries to remember. They are what make a recovery lifestyle so worthwhile, and are one good reason the month of September is now an annually celebrated National Recovery Month.
Recovery Day is scheduled to be held in dozens of Canadian cities in September 2017. September 9th 2017 we are carrying this traditional day to add to that big achievement for so many. We will be there and helping carry the message that we can recover.
There are so many pathways to recovery and Recovery day will be well represented. Families, loved ones and all of us that are in recovery will be there to learn , inspire and support each other. We all need that!
See you September 9th
